Massage Therapy

Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) are regulated health professionals trained in the assessment and treatment of soft tissue structures such as muscle, fascia, tendon and ligaments. Massage therapy also supports tissue repair and healing by increasing circulation (blood flow), bringing more oxygen and other nutrients to the tissue. Novacare massage therapists work with patients to help alleviate their pain, tension and stress, improve range of motion, mobility, posture and overall physical function. Massage techniques offered by Novacare RMTs include Swedish, deep tissue massage, hot stone therapy, myofascial release and trigger point therapy.

Yes, but it is not necessary to remove all articles of clothing. Patients may keep clothing on areas that are not being worked on. The patient is covered by a sheet and blanket.

We offer 30 minute, 45 minute, 60 minute and 90 minute Massage Therapy appointments.
